Partistry Balloons is an award-winning luxury and corporate balloon decor studio based in Columbia, Maryland. We specialize in custom balloon installations including organic garlands, balloon ceilings, branded backdrops, balloon arches, and large-scale sculptures for corporate events, galas, grand openings, warehouse events, product launches, university events, and luxury celebrations.

Who founded Partistry Balloons?

Partistry Balloons was founded by Flavia Oleniewski, a MICA-trained Certified Balloon Artist (CBA) and Float Award winner. Flavia brings fine arts training and years of professional event experience to every installation, ensuring each piece is both structurally sound and visually stunning.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Partistry Balloons is fully licensed and insured. We carry liability insurance required by most corporate venues and event facilities, and we are happy to provide a certificate of insurance upon request.

What types of balloon decor do you create?

We create a wide range of custom balloon installations, including organic balloon garlands and arches, balloon ceilings and canopies, branded balloon backdrops and walls, custom balloon sculptures and centerpieces, balloon columns and towers, entrance and stage decor, balloon drops for grand reveals, and large-scale warehouse and venue installations.

Do you do corporate events?

Corporate events are one of our specialties. We work with Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, universities, and government agencies to create impactful branded experiences. Do you decorate for warehouse and distribution center events?

Yes — warehouse events are a strong specialty for us. We have experience designing large-scale balloon installations for warehouse openings, employee appreciation events, and milestone celebrations at companies like Amazon, Under Armour, and Wayfair. We understand the logistical requirements of high-ceiling warehouse spaces and design accordingly.

Do you work with universities and colleges?

Absolutely. We regularly work with higher education institutions including Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, Morgan State University, McDaniel College, Howard Community College, and Frederick Community College for events ranging from move-in days and graduation celebrations to fundraising galas and sporting events.

Can you create branded balloon decor with our company colors and logo?

Yes. We specialize in fully branded installations using your exact brand colors matched as closely as possible, logos incorporated into backdrops, and custom shapes that reflect your brand identity. Our branded decor is particularly popular for product launches, grand openings, and corporate galas.

How much does balloon decor cost?

Pricing varies based on the scope, complexity, size, and location of your event. Our luxury and corporate installations typically start at $500 and scale upward based on your vision. We encourage you to request a consultation so we can provide an accurate custom quote for your specific event.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance for standard events, and 8 to 12 weeks for large corporate events, galas, or multi-installation projects. Peak seasons such as spring, fall, and the holiday season book up quickly, so the earlier you reach out, the better.

How do I get a quote?

Service Area

Where does Partistry Balloons serve?

We are based in Columbia, Maryland and serve clients throughout the greater Baltimore–Washington region, including Howard, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Harford, and Cecil counties, as well as all of Washington, D.C. We also serve select Northern Virginia locations for luxury events with a minimum investment of $3,000.

Do you travel outside of Maryland and DC?

For large-scale luxury or corporate events, we do travel beyond our standard service area. Please contact us to discuss your event details and travel requirements, and we will let you know if we can accommodate your request.

Logistics and Setup

Do you handle delivery and setup?

Yes. All of our installations include professional delivery, setup, and breakdown by our trained team. We coordinate directly with venue contacts to ensure a smooth, on-time installation that fits within your event timeline.

How long does installation take?

Installation time varies by project size. Smaller installations may take 1 to 2 hours, while large-scale corporate or multi-room installations can take 4 to 8 hours or more. We work with you to schedule installation during a venue access window that does not disrupt your event.

Do you use air-filled or helium balloons?

The majority of our organic garlands, installations, and sculptures are air-filled, which means they last significantly longer and are not dependent on helium availability. We do offer helium options for floating arrangements when appropriate for the design.
